Studio Aitch about

Providing creative support to founders, businesses & organisations.

Studio Aitch is run by Ryan Hudson, working with a trusted network of experienced collaborators built over years working together.

Ryan Hudson

I’m an experienced creative director & senior graphic designer with 25 years of global creative work across agencies, brands & organisations. I’ve spent my career helping clients shape, rebuild & refine their brands through considered creative thinking, strong visual identity, digital design, UI/UX & hands-on delivery. I’m driven by work that feels purposeful, beautifully crafted & genuinely useful. Design that solves problems, connects with people & does what it needs to do.

A lot of my work is rooted in collaboration. I enjoy getting under the skin of a challenge, asking the right questions & finding the clearest creative route forward. No smoke & mirrors, just thoughtful design, carefully made.

Alongside my creative career, I served as a logistics specialist in the RAF Reserves, where I earned a team commendation in the King’s Birthday Honours list for providing support to the world-famous Red Arrows. It’s something I’m incredibly proud of, and that same commitment, discipline & attention to detail carries through into the way I work everyday.

I care deeply about the impact of design, not just visually, but environmentally too. Reducing waste, making better choices & supporting positive change are values I try to bring into both my work & the way Studio Aitch operates. At heart, I love solving problems. I’m hands-on, practical & creatively curious, happiest when I’m turning a rough idea, messy brief or complex challenge into something cohesive, considered & clear.

Studio Aitch

Studio Aitch is based in Northampton, UK, and exists to keep the work focused, straightforward and close to the people behind it. For every project, you work directly with me. The person shaping the work is also the person understanding the brief, asking the right questions, solving problems and making sure the detail is carried through properly from start to finish.

That keeps communication clear, decisions quicker and the work consistent throughout. Small enough to stay flexible, experienced enough to handle complex projects, shifting priorities and busy internal teams without making things feel overcomplicated.

Studio Aitch is carbon neutral by default too, supporting verified climate projects focused on carbon reduction, habitat restoration and long-term environmental impact.

Built to be flexible

Some projects need extra hands or specialist input. When that happens, I bring in people I trust, including developers, copywriters, photographers, content specialists, printers and production partners. The idea is to keep the support right for the work. Sometimes that means keeping things lean and direct. Other times it means building the right team around a larger brand, digital or campaign project.

Start with a conversation

Whether you already have a project in mind or simply need a clearer sense of what creative support could look like, the easiest place to start is a conversation.

Clients.

Over the years, I’ve worked with organisations of different sizes and shapes, from established institutions and public bodies to specialist businesses, growing brands and founder-led teams.
